Vu le rythme paresseux des mises à jour de ce blog, on pourrait croire que je me la coule douce. Que nenni. Certes, ma productivité ferait rire un enfant thaïlandais dans une usine Nike (… ou pas), mais j’ai quand même des choses sur le feu.
Considering the lazy rhythm of new articles on this blog, one could believe that I live on easy street. Not the slightest bit. Well, a Thai child in a Nike factory would probably laugh at my productivity (… or maybe not) but I still have projects going on.De la couture qui me sort un peu de l’ordinaire, et qui va exiger que je dépasse ma phobie du coton hydrophile… J’en reparlerai…

J’ai aussi commandé la laine pour ce qui sera, je l’espère, mon premier tricot abouti (c’est loin d’être gagné, mais qui ne tente rien n’aura pas de pull).
I also ordered wool for what will be, hopefully, my first accomplished knit garment (far from done, but nothing ventured, no pull-over gained).Sinon, je regarde mon chat jouer et mon amoureux glander (l’inverse est vrai aussi), je descend progressivement la pile de très bons livres de ma table de chevet (parmi lesquels je recommande particulièrement Freedom, de Jonathan Franzen, et Oh de Philippe Djian), et je surveille la floraison de mon orchidée, dont je suis d’autant plus fière que c’est une des rares plantes que les efforts conjugués du chat et de moi-même n’ont pas réussi à faire crever.
I also watch my cat playing and my lover faffing around (the opposite is also true), I progressively diminish the pile of very good books on my bedside table (I particularly recommand Freedom by Jonathan Franzen and Oh by French writer Philippe Djian), and I keep an eye on the flowering of my orchid, something I’m very proud of, since the combined efforts of the cat and myself didn’t manage to kill it.
